end of my life in a diving bell
crumpling like an aluminum can
in the motherless womb
deep below, I scream
silently into waters
less malevolent than i
with more power
more purpose
I fade from all memory
as if I had left
an impression
water fills my lungs
I am the ocean
I am its floor
